About Caleb Kalsbeek
I began studying piano before the age of 5 years, and have taught beginner to intermediate students both piano and theory who have won awards in their local music festival. I have also won numerous scholarships from ARMTA and music festivals, and have been recommended to the Alberta Provincial music festival 6 times. After the completion of my RCM Level 10 with a standing of First Class Honours with Distinction, I moved on to finish my ARCT with high First Class Honours. Besides, I enjoy working with others and helping them succeed, and have collaborated with other musicians, including several soloists, a string orchestra, and local choirs. I reside in Picture Butte in Southern Alberta.
I teach mainly from the curriculum developed by the Royal Conservatory of Music, a widely renowned and recognized music school whose classically based certificate program provides a solid standard of musical achievement. For early beginners, I teach mainly from other methods and aim to move students into the RCM curriculum as soon as they are able. I am currently offering piano and theory lessons to beginner and late intermediate students.
Iād be excited to help you on your musical journey! View my lesson information or send me a message.
